Differentiation of expenditure on household exploitation and energy sources among households in Poland

Summary/Abstract: Effective satisfying housing and energy needs of households requires regular outlays. An aim of consideration is to identify the scale of differentiation of expenditure on housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels among household’s quintile group in Poland. The measure used for this purpose lead to quantitative and qualitative evaluation. As a result of the surveys, the degree of income elasticity was calculated on the basis of estimated consumer demand function know as the 1st Tornquist function. The research period covered the years 2007-2014.
