Summary/Abstract: There were two large medieval buildings north-east of the 11th-century Benedictine abbey at Pásztó that passed to the Cistercians in 1191. Both were destroyed in the mid-13th century, at the time of Mongolian invasion, and never rebuilt. The excavated features and their finds indicate that the buildings had accommodated a glass workshop and a smithy worked by monks.
