Summary/Abstract: The present study examines the meat consumption patterns of three households at the Late Neolithic settlement of Polgár-Csőszhalom based on the animal bone assemblages using various qualitative and quantitative analytical procedures. In addition to conventional comparative methods employed in archaeozoology a Multiple Correspondence Analysis (MCA) was also applied. This case study describes this multivariate method and its general applicability to this problem.
