Summary/Abstract: The object of the research aims to identify the stylistic features of performances in the history of ballet art of Ukraine in the second half o f the twentieth century in examples of the works of Valery Kovtun. Methodology of research is to apply analytical, art, chronological methods that you can explore the features ballet master Valery Kovtun activities and organize a coherent picture reproduction choreographic culture of the second half of the twentieth century. Scientific novelty based on the generalization and systematization of the whole picture of the reproduction choreographic culture in the second half of the twentieth century; analysis of the literature of choreographic culture in cultural, art aspect; clarify obscure facts about the work of Valery Kovtun; identifying features activities Valery Kovtun ballet master in Opera and Ballet of Ukraine.
