Proiecte de cercetare pentru dezvoltarea bibliotecilor digitale în România
Projects of research for the development of the Digital Libraries in Romania

Summary/Abstract: Domeniul modernizării bibliotecilor a beneficiat de-a lungul ultimelor trei decenii de numeroase activităţi de cercetare ce au fost implementate prin proiecte. Acestea au vizat, iniţial, obiective referitoare la realizarea unui sistem informatizat de bibliotecă (proiectul finanţat pentru Biblioteca Centrală de Stat, în 1979). În perioadele care au urmat, cuprinse între anii 1980-1990 şi 1990-2000, munca de cercetare a fost relevantă pentru formarea grupului de specialişti (bibliotecari şi informaticieni) care au contribuit, apoi, la îmbogăţirea domeniului informatizării bibliotecilor, şi respectiv pentru elaborarea de documente importante, manuale, cărţi; achiziţionarea de către bibliotecile din ţară de sisteme integrate de bibliotecă. După anul 2000, proiectele de cercetare au vizat, în general, rolul informaţiei şi al bibliotecii digitale. Sunt prezentate succint în articol problematica şi obiectivele celor mai importante programe naţionale de cercetare (Planurile naţionale de cercetare - dezvoltare I şi II) şi ale programelor sectoriale (Programul Nucleu şi Planul Sectorial ale Ministerului Educaţiei şi Cercetării, Programul INFOSOC, Programul de excelenţă CEEX). O serie de proiecte ce s-au înscris în demersul realizării unei culturi a informaţiei digitale şi care au contribuit la modernizarea proceselor de informare şi documentare - SIINFO, PROSEBA, NUSIDOC, SINRED - sunt analizate din punct de vedere al temelor de cercetare, obiectivelor, partenerilor implicaţi, beneficiarilor şi, în special, al realizărilor finale. The domain of the modernisation of the libraries profited in the last three decades of many activities of research that were implemented through projects. These hinted initially at objectives referring to the realization of an informatized system of library (project financed for the State Central Library, in 1979). In the years to follow, between 1980 - 1990 and 1990 - 2000, the work of research was relevant for forming the groups of specialists (librarians and informaticians) who contributed then to the enrichment of the domain of the informatization of the libraries, and respectively, for the elaboration of important documents, textbooks, books: the purchase by all the librarians in the country of integrated systems of library. After the year 2000, the projects of research hinted in general at the role of information and of digital library. There are presented succinct in the article the problems and the objectives of the most important national programs of research (The National Plan of Research - Development I and II), and of sectorial programs (The Nucleus Program and Sectorial Plan of the Ministry of Education and Research, the Program INFOSOC, The Program of Excellency CEEX). A series of projects that registered in the measures of the realization of a culture of digital information and that contributed at the modernisation of the process of informing and documentation - SIINFO, PROSEBA, NUSIDOC, SINRED - are examinated from the point of view of themes of research, objectives, the partners implied, beneficiaries and especially the final achievments.
