Summary/Abstract: The article describes the research activities by the fine art expert Tetiana Myshkyvska in the area of decorative and applied and fine arts. The particular attention is focused on the study by Tetiana Myshkyvska of the home wall paintings, and problems of their science based fixing. Based on archival sources, the article analyzes the obscure works of the researcher in relation to Easter egg art and carpet weaving. In the development of the domestic art history as a science, along with the activities of the leading scientists who formed schools and trends, significant importance was the study of their pupils. Art critic Tatyana Myshkivska (1898-1936; sources in 1930 Mishkivska), which is due to the creative potential of contemporary socio-political realities and ideological factors were not fully disclosed, a generation of young scientists 1920-1930 years.
