Summary/Abstract: In this article we have been explore two pieces of the V. Bybyk's polyphonic cycle. They've a different features, but first – through quoting topics they became "The Musical Offering". Their destinations, famous classical music of the twentieth century – D. Shostakovich and W. Lutosławsky. Music gives his imaginative vision and composite potential themes by Cello Concerto by W. Lutosławsky and Fugue b-moll by D. Shostakovich. Thus there is a stylistic dialogue, which – search for yourself in the music universe. The tradition of "composers offerings" or "offerings composers" has more than one century. Everyone musician and musicologist know story about J.S. Bach's "musical offering" to Prussian King (1747). Also we can remember many cycles of variations on Beethoven's themes and compositions- offerings by Maurice Ravel, to Emanuel Shabriye and Olexandr Borodin. All of them we might calling "offerings", with appropriate honors and dedications, could take the form of work on the thematic, styling and stylistic allusions to the works of the composer recipient. The sense of these offerings were not only showing the respect for this or that person, but also a recognition of the influence of the composer object offering on-composer of the subject.
