Creative organization of the sound field in surround systems

Summary/Abstract: Сinematography has huge impact on society in modern world. The technological advances, such as spatial sound systems, are being discussed in the information field. These changes have radically changed the cinematographic art. Still there are no enough scientific studies of creative aspect of the sound component of the film. This issue is relevant both among professionals and amateurs, though. Media image in the modern world is aimed at the manipulation of collective emotions. Aggressiveness of its impact depends on the basic feature of human behavior, i.e., interest. For example, the performance, finding of a possible solution to the situation, getting of a virtual experience of the experienced emotions. Important aspect of the first stage is immersing of the viewer in the atmosphere of action. Important aspect of the second phase includes timing, dramatic and psychological accents, implemented through the means of artistic expression (sound design), emphasizing of the dynamic movement with dynamic, tone, timbre and harmonic, tempo-rhythmic accents, the techniques of the parallel editing. Reaching the culmination and catharsis at the third stage is determined by the expected or non-standard pattern of the author and the respective intonation of actors, sensual music etc.
