Value system vs. the satisfaction of the individual with working life – results of the study

Summary/Abstract: One of the factors affecting the subjectively perceived by the individual satisfaction with various aspects of life is his/her value system.. The aim of the article is to present the results of the primary research carried out using a direct survey questionnaire regarding the satisfaction of the individual with various aspects of working life, depending on their value system. It shows that the majority of respondents are satisfied or rather satisfied with the work; although the level of satisfaction with it is lower than with the personal life, which affects the subjective assessment of quality of life in general.. The performed cluster analysis showed that the values declared by the respondents primarily influence the differences in their perception of the importance of the analyzed aspects of working life, which as a result is also reflected in the satisfaction with them.
