Analysis of distribution of available income by regions using time dependencies

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the analysis of the distribution of available income, including available income per person based on the Household Budget Survey for the years 2003-2011 using the Dagum distribution. The distributions of these variables were obtained using the package VGAM for R-project environment and individual data. Also the quality of estimated parameters is presented. A preliminary analysis of selected parameters of interest using hierarchical clustering and k-means method is shown. The results of nonlinear estimation models for the Dagum distribution scale parameter of available income is assessed and the model of the average disposable income per person is compared. Obtained fairly good consistency of both of these models is also confirmed using charts applying nonlinear dependence of time.
