Summary/Abstract: The author examines the regularities of organization of the whole in the works of Francis Poulenc. In the article is made an attempt to explain the peculiarities of formation from the position of the concept of "dynamic scheme" introduced by Henri Bergson, the French philosopher. By the example of Sonata for Flute and Piano (1957) is shown the action of this principle is the music of the composer. The author distinguishes the main factors determining the character of the musical development in the composition: quality of initial musical material, creation time, playing time.
