Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the study is to determine the main directions and forms of cultural dialogue between Ukraine and Greece. With the help of philosophical, historical and cultural characteristics of the relations between the two countries the study describes cultural dialogue between Ukraine and Greece in XVII-XVIII centuries. The following methods are used for the research: historical method shows the evolution of knowledge in the area of dialogue; comparative and hermeneutic methods help to study, compare and in particular interpret the texts, etc. This leads to scientific novelty. Between I and the other person there appears Sacrum (spirituality). SACRUM through Απτοδοκσις'u (strict observance of the principles of any doctrine, in our case – Orthodoxy) as an effective direction or category contributes to a positive problem-solving dialogue. Conclusions. Sacrum really shapes a dialogue and circulation of relations is a dramatic confirmation of this idea. Thus, the cultural dialogue between Ukraine and Greece in XVII-XVIII centuries is a bright palette of a struggle and cultural achievements, in which fate and fortunes of people, religion, education and economy are closely intertwined. The cultural dialogue between Ukraine and Greece in XVII-XVIII centuries is a strong, bright impetus to the development of culture between the two countries, which successfully implements the formula of "I – You" where instead of dash there is spirituality, faith and Orthodoxy, where the conversation turns into the trade and economic, religious and political relations and traditions can develop, be kept up and return to the origin.
