Summary/Abstract: The main aim of the article is to examine the rhetorical strategy chosen by Polish suffragists in a feminist magazine “Ster” in 1907. The modes of persuasion used in the article are divided according to Aristotle's theory into lógos, pathos and èthos. The main conclusion of the analysis is that Polish suffragists chose the intellectual model of their campaign, based particularly on substantive argumentation.
