Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to identify the possibility and advisability of implementing municipal revitalization projects in Poland in the form of hybrid projects, ie. public-private projects (PPP) financed from EU funds, and an indication of their advantages and disadvantages. To achieve this objective the analysis of reports and studies on PPP and hybrid projects in Poland was used, as well as regulations constituting the legal framework of revitalization and sanctioning the use of EU funds to PPP projects. The results show that hybrid projects may become an atractive form of revitalization projects, because they combine the advantages resulting from the involvement in the public project private capital and EU funds. At the same time they allow the implementation of the basic principle of revitalization, ie. social participation and ensure financial complementarity required by formal and legal regulations.
