Regional variation of allocation of European funds in Poland in cohesion policy in 2007-2013

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present a quantitative dimension of the allocation of European funds entered in the cohesion policy in the period 2007-2013 in Poland. Adopted analysis system takes into account the breakdown by province and operational programs. The research was based on relational analysis of statistical data of the Central Statistical Office. In turn, the qualitative analysis was based on desk research studies. The high dispersion in the level of absorption of European funds shows significantly different grassroots development potential of regions (the disadvantage of the province of Lubelskie, Podlaskie and Świętokrzyskie).
