Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses the legal aspects of social security rules applicable to European Union officials, namely pension, invalidity and survivors’ benefits, social entitlements in case of labour accidents and occupational diseases, as well as other social benefits and other selected issues as well. The account of legal regulations has been complemented by relevant case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
