Summary/Abstract: The article has considered and analyzed the main directions of the legislative support of organizational and economic powers of local self-government bodies. The author has suggested a more detailed classification of municipal body powers in accordance with their restatement in the legislation regulating the field of economic activities of the local self-government bodies.
