Summary/Abstract: Culture is a complex and ambiguous phenomenon. The literature analysis of the researched subject points to the diversity of its definitions and models, multi criterion nature of typology as well as the lack of equivalence in the issue of the opportunities in changes of culture and the relation of the organizational culture towards strategy and structure. The main goal of the article is to make an attempt to answer the question: Is there any chance to change the type of organizational culture, and if yes, what is the way of achieving that? Other indirect goals, submitted to the main one, are worded as follows: 1. Drawing the essence of the organizational culture. 2. Presenting the factors of the cultural change and chosen approach towards the given change. 3. Identifying possible obstacles in the changing process of the organizational culture, and presenting the ways of overcoming them. The article has got rather a review character.
