Summary/Abstract: Currently culinary tourism represents one of the most dynamically developing forms of tourism. In the age of experience economy it should be considered as one of the crucial factors having an impact on the competitiveness of tourist regions. The purpose of the article is to evaluate the possibilities for taking advantage of culinary traditions in the process of the Karkonosze Mountains regional tourist product establishment and thus improving the regional competitiveness of the discussed area. The article presents problems of a tourist product in the context of experience economy, describes the Karkonosze region culinary traditions and evaluates the offer of the local food and beverage serving establishments. TripAdvisor application and the author’s direct research were used for this purpose. The analysis of modern market trends also covered the appropriate activities to be undertaken in order to create the tourist product of the Karkonosze Mountains – the Karkonosze fusion cuisine.
