Summary/Abstract: Markus Gabriel, with two books published within the last three years, Why the world does not exist (2013) and Ego is not a brain (2016), is a philosopher who claims to extend a system of philosophical thought within a wide thematic space. According to him, everything exists, except the world. And the world is nonexistent because we can never have a perspective on it from the outside.
