The analysis of determining the amount of the financial equalization in german’s national financial equalization systems on the example of 2011

Summary/Abstract: The German national financial equalization system has developed for many years. One of the main features of these systems is the amount of financial equalization. This article aims to analyze how different Länder shall determine the value of financial equalization, and on what elements and how the resulting value is divided. The analysis has been carried out for 2011, with the exception of Baden-Württembergand Lower Saxony, where it has been for 2010.
