Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with the so-called father’s quota. Father’s quota is one of the possibilities how to reach the work-family balance on the side of both parents. The paper deals with the pros and cons of the adoption of this institute in general and, in the final part, the author formulates his opinion on its adoption into the Czech legal order.
