Summary/Abstract: The article examines the sources where to describe the effect of globalization on cultural realm specific notions are applied. The author investigates the genesis of such notions, defines their scope, application features and formulates their generalized definition. Thus, the paper is a kind of culture-glossary on modern transformation processes in the sphere of culture.
