Summary/Abstract: The article presents the different jurisprudential opinions, illustrated with extracts from courts decisions, regarding the moment from which starts to run the time limit for imposing a disciplinary sanction in the case of teaching staff, auxiliary, leadership, guidance and control teaching staff in pre-university education, accompanied commentaries that presents comparatively the situation of employees subject to the regulation of Labour Code as interpreted by High Court of Cassation and Justice.
