Summary/Abstract: The paper aims to demonstrate the relevance of the interior-exterior interface in the human habitat. Life quality depends on the spatial configuration and also on space limits defined by the Envelope that contains it. The materiality of this envelope influences the urban space but its relevance goes beyond public-private or interior-exterior features of the space itself and existential philosophical theories.
