Summary/Abstract: Élhetek az arcodon? (Can I live on Your Face?) an autobiographical work by Katalin Ladik published ten years ago is about to get a sequel titled Vadhús. The paper examines the implicit philosophy of the Subject from the perspective of conventional autobiographies in the former volumes in the context of the strong irregularities of the book. The text enhanced by multimedial elements has a structure of a complex question which conditions its reception, and its chiazmic character confronts the reader with the experience of the own Other, the internal foreign self and extimity.
