Complex of Transport Amphoras from the Building Complex U7 of the Settlement of Panskoye I

Summary/Abstract: The author gives a full report on amphorae found during excavation of district U7 at Panskoe I settlement. The complex includes materials of two cultural layers: a Chersonessian settlement of the end of 4th — the beginning of the 3rd centuries BC and a four-tower fort of the first three quarters of the 4th century preceding it. The article contains an analysis of amphorae samples from different production centers, including some previously unidentified tare specimens of West Pontic production and earlier unknown Mendean vessels, etc. Some statistical data are offered on amphora samples for all 16 households of district U7.
