Energy supply security: challenges for the German security policy

Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the issue of energy supply security in the German security policy. Data on domestic fuel and energy production as well as imports of the energy resources having salient significance in the evaluation of the German energy supply security were presented in the paper. The text undertakes an assessment of global prime energy consumption structure and developmental trends, their implications as well as the subject of quantification of the German energy supply security.
