Summary/Abstract: This essay firstly clarifies Scotus’ thoughts of Incarnation of Jesus Christ and the contribution of its benefit to this topic. The essay presents an overview of some of its key positions in four main areas: Christology, Mariology, Incarnation, God’s freedom and Theology as a practical science. In the first part we analyze the process of a way of thinking mainly of Franciscan philosophers which was the fundament of Scotus’ thought about the Mystery of Incarnation. The second part describes premises whereon Scotus introduces his theory about Possibility of the Incarnation of Jesus Christ. The following part is about Scotus’ own Theology of Incarnation and the forth one contains Scotus’ argumentation against former aspirations towards Virigin Mary’s Conception determination. The last fifth part deals with Scotus’ understanding of God’s and human’s freedom in Incarnation.
