Summary/Abstract: Humanity exists as a perfect rational unit subsisting as a whole, body and soul. Biblical (or Christian) Anthropology is a theological anthropology that values human transcendence by reference to creation. God did not create death, but death seized the body because of sin, through which man stepped out of his immortal, self-existent spirit. After the physical death, the soul separates from the body for a period of time with the hope of eternal life and awaiting the resurrection of the body. Death touches only the tangible element (the body), but not the divine image of man, represented by the immortal soul. Death has changed not only its purpose through Jesus Christ but also the experience of those who live it, revealing itself as a means of achieving a new life. Jesus Christ did not come to abolish the law of death on earth, but to make us understand that death is not the end, but means passing into another life, because the human soul is immortal.
