Summary/Abstract: The article reflects the development of schools and education, and the dissemination of the books in Moldova through the 17th century. Under the influence of the Renaissance, the Counter-Reformation and the Baroque, the humanist trends are intensified and the proximity to the modern European culture are reinforcedin the Romanian culture.
