Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to Bulgarian colonization of the south of Russian Empire in 1830s. The author pays particular attention to military and civil administration’s disagreement on a problem of the mass resettlement during the Russian-Turkish war. The migration of Bulgarians from Silistra is researched.
