Summary/Abstract: Attempt to extract Gavrilo Princip's act from the era in which the assassination of Austria/Hungary's archduke happened, is actually a propaganda effort by the contemporaries in order to use that event as a tool against the nation from which the majority of 'Young Bosnia' members originated. Sociological analisys of young student's resistance's intensity (the social group being labeled by prof. Ekmečić as 'innocent part of the society, politicized to early') and the fact that 'in (Austria/Hungary's) official policy ther was a fear of children' (Angst vor Kinder) reveal the impotence of the solutions imposed from abroad in times when basic national values are endangered. Geostrategic intentions of our powerful contemporaries also carry the risk of reinstating the tensions of inter-ethnic relations in Europe and the Balkans, as well as reactualizing Young Bosnia's pattern of victim and sacrifice.
