Summary/Abstract: The appeal for annulment provides the parties with a procedural means to obtain a new trial in the event of significant procedural irregularities, such as disregarding the principle of the rights of the defense and of the contradictory nature but of the lawfulness. That is why the legislator has expressly and strictly provided strict conditions for the admissibility of this extraordinary remedy.
