Summary/Abstract: The construction of the Olympic Complex in Berlin is associated with XI Summer Olympics, organized in Nazi Berlin on 1-16 August 1936. Not many people know that in the same place the Germans had already raised a magnificent object – “German Stadium”, which was supposed to be the venue for the Olympic Games in 1916 - canceled due to prolonged First World War. The paper discusses the attitude of the authorities of the Third Reich to the idea of organizing the Olympic Games in Berlin. The process of transforming Hitler's approach from the unwillingness to desire to use of Olympism for its own propaganda purposes was presented in this paper. All this has found its reflection in the concept of construction and implementation of the Olympic Complex.
