Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the analysis of the results of research of the entrepreneurial potential of young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in order to answer the question of what are the resources, capabilities and readiness of young people to develop entrepreneurship and realize business enterprise? The survey was conducted on a sample of 546 respondents aged 19 to 35 years. In the first part we see literature as well as the clarification of some general attitudes about entrepreneurship as one, now increasingly important, branch of the economy using the opinion of a significant number of authors who are engaged in research in the field of entrepreneurship.
