On the issue of research in the field of preserving the cultural heritage of Republic of Moldova in the context of European integration

Summary/Abstract: This article highlights and analyzes the scientific activities of the researchers of the Institute of Cultural Heritage of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, their personal scientific contribution to the process of preserving the cultural heritage of Moldova, various aspects of this problem, its solution in the context of European integration. During the period of radical social changes, the main task of the state policy in the field of culture is not only to preserve and protect the cultural heritage, but also to support state scientific structures that provide a competent and serious approach to solving the problems arising in the process of preserving and protecting the cultural heritage. The author draws attention to the following important components of this policy: the preservation of cultural heritage as a factor in the moral and ethical consolidation of society; preservation of national cultural traditions, as well as the traditions of ethnic groups living in the Republic of Moldova; the formation of a single cultural space.
