Summary/Abstract: This article presents a historical perspective to create legislation towards the Jewish community. The article discusses three legal systems - secular system, a mixed system and religious system in relation to the institution of marriage. This perspective allows us to understand the processes associated with the creation of a multicultural society and the problems associated with it.
