Summary/Abstract: The article examines the conflict between the governing body of the Bulgarian Orthodox church in Australia and the Macedonians for control over the church St. St. Cyril and Methodius. This conflict makes it possible to see the essence of the Macedonian issue and events in Australia, where ethnic, church policy and religion are closely linked and interdependent.
