Summary/Abstract: L'Impromptu de l'Alma of Eugene Ionesco is a work of protest. It obeys no a predetermined label, or any preconceived code. Eugene Ionesco, writing this piece, has gone against of the epistemological foundations of a culture deemed outdated and obsolete. He has abandoned all logic and did not bother to re-produce the reality. He put into practice new "codes" aesthetic, in this case the excess, unreason, the difference, openness, etc.
