Provision of Land Discourses and Applications of Farmers and Peasants in Turkey

Summary/Abstract: Land reform or, in a more specific way, the idea of giving land to farmers and peasantry come true in 1945. The Law on Farming and the political, social and economic structure of Turkey in the year of this law have exceeded the limits of this article. In this Article, the intellectual and political reasons why land reform was not on the agenda too much in 1920s and why it was also on the agenda from especially the second half of the 1930s will be researched. While doing the research, the archive documents with the works narrating the newspapers, magazine or topics belonging to this term directly or indirectly will be examined.
