Summary/Abstract: What is happiness from a philosophical point of view? What is happiness from a psychological viewpoint? Is happiness one of the rights or fundamental freedoms within the meaning of the constitutional provisions? Can happiness be reckoned as a civil liberty or a subjective right within the meaning of civil law? „The right to happiness” is one and the same thing with “the right to the pursuit of happiness”? How could the concept “right to happiness” be defined in legal terms? These are some of the questions to which we will try to answer in the following lines.
