Summary/Abstract: In school books used during 1912-1939 we see that the geography of Albania is treated in all dimensions such natural, economic, political etc. Thus, important knowledge was gained by the students in this topic. Starting from the texts written during the period of the proclamation of independence, the main objective was to plant the feelings of patriotism and the love for the country. Also, in the texts appear the concern for the territories snatched by neighbor countries. In these lessons, the strive is to show the beauty and the characteristic parts of the country. The economical situation in its whole shows the main branches of the economy, cultures of farming and the most known cities which apply them.During the analysis of geographical object and occurrences found in these school books, the purposes and causes were evidenced. The occurrences appear to be treated in the context of their evolution showing the relation between them, also by giving their geographical spreading. The methods used were same to those used in Europe during that period.Teachers and great personalities of Albanian education have composed high level scientifically and methodological texts. Thus, in the schools during 1912-1939 period the lesson of geography appear to be important such others like language, arithmetic and history. The level of geographicallessonsduringtheperiod of theconsolidation of Albanianstate, hasbeen in thelevel of other European countries. The composition of such texts, also is a real contribution in theprogress of Albanian geographical thought.
