Summary/Abstract: This work is dedicated to the memory of Petru Forna my collegue from the German department of the Faculty of Philology who has left us not long ago.(died 2005). This work focuses on his favorite activity that is the translation of the of the German Post War Literature. He was mainly known as a very good translator of Heinrich Bõll. His latest translation was the novel: "Tauben in Grass" (Porumbei in Iarba) by Herman Koeppen, which is concerned whith the desolated image of Germany after the II World War belonging to the so called "Trümmer Literatur". This very succesfull translation was actually made a decade age but was only published in 2005.
