Summary/Abstract: In the article, the significance of theology in contemporary postmodern society is discussed. The author argues that secularization, modernism and postmodernism are inevitable results of Christianity, and therefore theology does not lose its social and cultural significance, but, on the contrary, becomes an important part of public disputations. At the end of the article, the role of theology in secularized society is considered.
