Summary/Abstract: This paper investigates the features of the legal status of the Secretary of the Chamber of higherspecialized court under the law of Ukraine and the Chair of judicial chamber of the Supreme Court of Latvia. Ouranalysis suggests that the Secretary of the Chamber, besides performing the duties of administration of justice, acts asan organizer, controller and information provider without having administrative authority.
