Summary/Abstract: In this article, I would like to focus on one of the aspects of the phenomenon of celebrities and analyze selected interviews given by them to the press. During these conversations, they tell not only about professional plans and successes, but also share various details of private life. I would like to draw attention to the way in which stories related to body care, preservation of young appearance and slimming are tied in. Accepting the perspective of social constructivism, I will discuss the dominant models and nature of the narrative strategies used, and also point to the significant actors of these narratives, the main themes and discourses.
