Summary/Abstract: The monograph is the result of lectures conducted by Naděžda Pelcova in 2013 at the Faculty of Pedagogical Sciences of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, where the author was invited as a foreign professor. The book consists of two parts. The first one is titled Man and Education (pp. 13-126). The second part is entitled: Philosophy of Education (pp. 127-254). The monograph is closed by quoted literature (pp. 257-263). The author shows pedagogy students, future teachers and educators, the philosophical dimension of education from a phenomenological perspective.
