Summary/Abstract: Alliance between natural sciences and the humanities postulated by Konrad Lorenz found its creative expression primarily in the alliance between philosophy and ethology. Numerous Lorenz’s works show the impact of ethology on the intensity of philosophical reflection on a number of issues traditionally undertaken by disciplines such as philosophical anthropology, ontology, epistemology and ethics. Anthropological relevance of ethology determines the prospect of exploring its eco-educational relevance. This means that the ethological concept of man as a cultural being from his nature is the starting point for the work on the strategy of ecological education, which express actualization of biological potential of man in the course of his ontogenetic adaptation to the specific conditions of the natural environment.
