Summary/Abstract: The Catholic Church appeals to the faithful and Christian families to pursue holiness. The present paper seeks the answer to the question whether, and to what extent, the offer of the Scouts of Europe responds to the Catholic families’ expectations. The first part outlines the issue of appealing to the members of the Catholic Church to pursue holiness. Then, the same appeal is discussed in the context of whole families. Subsequently, the paper presents the Scouts of Europe as a Catholic association of the faithful, and their statutory proposals and forms are discussed. The content of these documents constitutes a guarantee for Catholic parents that their child, when given under the charge of the Scouts of Europe, will grow in the spirit of the Catholic faith.
